Starting A Technology Club? |
Are you (members of the Youth Center) interested in starting a technology club at the Youth Center? Are you interested in computers, web sites, digital photography/graphics/media or any other areas? Would you like to form a web design and development 'company' and learn what it takes to create and manage a web site? Would you like to do volunteer work to help manage real web sites for North Andover organizations? | | Please contact Don Romano (volunteer technology director at the Youth Center) at

if you are interested. We can discuss various ideas about what people would consider to be interesting and come up with a club that would be a lot of fun for people to be involved in starting this Fall. You don't need to be "technical". Parents are invited to ask questions as well. |

Parents, We Need Your Help! |
|
Parent Volunteers Needed! How you can become involved! The Joseph N. Hermann Youth Center, Inc. is looking for some new members for our Board of Directors. Our organization is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization and our primary mission is to support the youth of North Andover. We currently have a great team in place but we are always looking for new members who have the desire to become more involved and who can bring fresh ideas to our group. The time commitment is minimal but the satisfaction you receive can be great.
One of the amazing things I’ve learned by being on the Board is that nearly everyone who I’ve asked for help is willing to get involved or help out in some way. In many of these instances, they have wanted to get involved and they are thrilled that someone has approached them. Well, now I am asking you. You may have wanted to get more involved and you think you have something to offer. However, you have never taken that final step to sign up. We need your help to keep our Board vibrant and dynamic.
We can always use input from people with backgrounds in Fundraising, Marketing, Public Relations, Education, Accounting and Information Technology. However, any adult with the desire to get involved probably has the fresh ideas and input that we need to continue the success of our organization. I would be happy to speak with anyone who has an interest in our Board and Youth Center.
If you think you have some ideas to share, please send an e-mail to me at

Do you want to make a difference in a child’s life? We are looking for mentors to participate in our Mentoring Program. Mentors are adults who offer guidance, support, and encouragement aimed at developing the competence and character of the mentee. Mentoring has proved to be a powerful tool for helping young people fulfill their potential. Click here for "What Is A Mentor?" For more information contact Michelle Grasso at 978-682-9000 x226 or
