Writing Coaching for College Essays |
 | YourBestFoot, LLC is offering one-on-one writing coaching for the college essay. The program is taught by Nicole Downer, a well respected English teacher who specializes in creative and expository writing. | The program commences with a series of lessons in organization, structure, thesis, diction, metaphor, allusion, economy of language, connotation, style and voice, and students compose their essays step by step, applying these skills as they go. Then the coaching switches gears to editing, teaching students the craft of editing a document to strengthen language, analyze "big picture" elements, and copy edit. Simply put, YourBestFoot, LLC teaches students to write a memorable college admissions essay because its program teaches the skills to create and edit powerful prose. You can reach Nicole via her website yourbestfoot.net , email
