SUMMER FUN

Cost: $240 Summer Fun is a summer day program for all children currently in grades 1 through 5. The program is run outdoors and includes an array of activities: sports, games, arts and crafts and much more! All children presently in grades 1 & 2 will attend Summer Fun at the Atkinson School Mon - Fri 8:30 - 12:30
All children currently in grades 3, 4 & 5 will attend Summer Fun at the Drummond Playground Mon - Fri 9:00 - 1:00

6th & 7th Grade Scarlet Knights Sports Academy
June 30th until August 7th at REYNOLDS PARK in North Andover Monday through Thursday 8:30 - 12:00 Cost: $220
This is a Sports Oriented program for both boys and girls currently in the 6th or 7th grade. This is the first year that we have integrated the camp for the two grades. Activities at the Sports Academy will include basketball, football, soccer, wiffleball, t-ball, ultimate frisbee, lacrosse and many more. This program is designed for kids who have a genuine passion for sports. There will be NO arts & crafts or playground stations offered. The combination of competitiveness and sportsmanship make this camp fun for all that are involved. ADVENTURE PROGRAMS
Amazing Race Monday, July 7th - Friday, July 11th Van leaves at 9:00 am and returns by 5:00 pm Open to all middle and high school students Cost: $200 We will be traveling to a different destination each day. Each day will include both a navigation challenge and a physical challenge. No one will be eliminated. Teams of two will earn points for completing and winning events. The specific areas and activities will be announced at the beginning of each day. Cost: $175 We will be traveling to a different biking destination each day. The specific areas will be dependent on rider ability and weather conditions. Possibly: Pawtuckaway State Park, FOMBA trail network, etc Click here for the "Mountain Biking Trip" flyer with permission slip Rock Climbing Friday, August 1st and Monday, August 4th through Friday, August 8th Open to all middle and high school students Cost: $250 Friday, August 1st will be a local rock site cleanup day. Monday, August 4th through Wednesday, August 6th, we will be traveling to a different climbing destination each day. We will depart at 9:00 and will return by 5:00. On Thursday, August 7 we will be spending an overnight up in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. We will daprt at 8:00 and will return by 7:00pm on Friday. The areas that we will climb may include Red Rock, Pawtuckaway, Rumney and Cathedral Ledge. Cost: $300 Monday will be a trail maintenance day. We will learn what goes into maintaining the trails that we hike in New England. The rest of the week is a four day backpacking trip in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. During this trip the group will summit several of the 48 mountains over 4000 feet. Cost: $45 A fun and creative cooking class inspired by the cookbook by Jessica Seinfeld. These recipes incorporate different fruits and vegetable purees into everyday food. Our creative chefs will work together to create fascinating and mouthwatering dishes to take home and share with their families. Each student will get copies of the recipes to make their own little cookbook. Middle School Girls Golf Program Tuesdays July 15th - August 19th 10:30 - 1:30 Meet at the Youth Center and transportation will be provided to the award-winning Atkinson Country Club in Atkinson, NH Middle School Girls, 10 spots available
Learn about basic golf etiquette, equipment and techniques including chipping putting and driving. Lessons are with a former professional and Mini Tour player. $100/player CASH ONLY (includes transportations, lessons and lunch for the full 6 weeks!) High School Girls Fitness Boot Camp July 1 – August 14, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3-4pm The program will start with a Fitness Plan questionnaire to help fine-tune your summer fitness program. Activities will include strength training, kickboxing, aerobic exercise, and more! You will also learn about nutrition, muscle groups, and other important factors for fitness. The cost of $50 includes Gatorade before and after exercise, food for after exercise, and use of the Youth Center’s weight room, fitness DVDs, and multipurpose room/studio. Contact Michelle Mason
