Summer Fun is back for another great summer! Atkinson will be welcoming 3 new coordinators, Chaz Fiorino, Bri Toomey and Molly Malandrino. Returning to the Drummond site is Micaela Tetrault and helping her will be Drew Masterson and Sean McManus.
The Summer Fun program is a summer day camp for all children presently in grades 1 through 5. The camp is run outdoors and includes an array of activities including sports, games, arts and crafts and much more! Currently there are two locations for Summer Fun. All children presently in grades 1 & 2 will attend Summer Fun at the Atkinson School from 8:30 am until 12:30 pm. All children in grads 3, 4 & 5 will attend Summer Fun at the Drummond Playground from 9:00 am until 1:00 pm. We can’t wait to see you this summer!
This year Summer Fun will be held from: Monday, June 29th to Thursday August 6th for the Atkinson Program Monday, June 29th to Friday, August 7th for the Drummond Program. The cost for Summer Fun is $275.00
Sports Academy - Now open to students currently in 8th grade too! The Scarlet Knights Sports Academy is a sports oriented program for boys and girls that are presently in grades 6,7 & 8. This is the second year that we have integrated the camp for the two grades and the first year we have included the 8th graders. This program will run outdoors and will take place at Reynolds Park in North Andover. The program will be from 8:30 am – 12:00 pm, Monday thru Thursday. Activities will include basketball, football, soccer, wiffleball, t-ball, ultimate frisbee, lacrosse and much more. This program is designed for kids who have a genuine passion for sports. There will be no arts and crafts or playground stations offered. The combination of competitiveness and sportsmanship make the camp fun for all that are involved. ADVENTURE TRIPS
Skater’s Nirvana We will travel to some of the best skate parks in the New England area and shred! The specific areas will be dependent on skater choice and weather conditions. Come skate with us, board, blade or rip stick! Monday, July 6th through Thursday, July 9th 9:00 - 5:00

The specific areas will be dependent on rider ability and weather conditions. Water Week We will be traveling to Mossehead Lake in Maine and canoeing there for two days, then spending a day rafting on the Kennebec River. We will be camping for the four nights and all meal are provided from Monday dinner to Friday Lunch. Vertical Earth – Rock Climbing Mon thru Wed, we will be traveling to a different area climbing destination each day. May include Red Rock, Pawtuckaway, Rumney and Cathedral Ledge. On Thursday and Friday we will be spending the night in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. Amazing Race We will be traveling to a different destination each day. Each day will include both a navigation challenge and a physical challenge. No one will be eliminated. Teams of two will earn points for completing and winning events. The team wil the most points at the end of the week will win. The specific areas and activities will be announced at the beginning of the each day.

for more information. Coach Paul Neal – Finer Point Basketball Clinic
FOR BOYS going into GRADES 6 thru 9 The Clinic will focus on teaching and understanding the fundamentals of basketball. Areas that will be taught include: offensive and defensive footwork, ball handling, shooting, rebounding, offensive moves as well as defensive skill building and what it takes to be a good defender. The clinic will also teach its participants how to properly workout through basic and innovative drills. Coach Neal and his staff will teach you how to play the game the right way. The clinic will be informative and fun but it will be hard work. If you want to take your game to the next level this is the place for you!
Monday, August 10th through Thursday August 13th 8:30 - 11:30 at the Youth Center The Cost for Coach Paul Neal’s Clinic is $90 Top Chef Cooking Class Top Chef is a fun and creative cooking class where the kids get to come tour our kitchen and learn how to make some of their favorite meals! Our creative chefs will work together to create fascinating dishes to take home and share with their families. At the end of the week, the group of students will get to create their favorite dish to show off their amazing culinary skills. Each student will get copies of the recipes that we create for them to make at home. Monday, July 20th through Friday, July 24th 3:00 – 5:00

Animal and Environment Week
New this summer for High School students is an opportunity to give back to the world around us. During Animal and Environment Week, we’ll be helping out at an animal sanctuary, doing some beach cleanup and tidepooling, helping out at a greyhound adoption facility, cleaning up and planting trees locally, and going to the EcoTarium in Worcester!
